Reported on July 7th, 2010, Mel Gibson and his wife Oksana had drama surface around the same time Lindsay Lohan was dealing with her probation violations.

There are tapes recording Mel Gibson admitting to hitting Oksana and showing no remorse. She asks him, “ What kind of man would hit a woman holding a child?”.

Mel responds saying, “ You f-cking deserved it.”

Co-parenting basically means, you and your ex-spouse will continue to raise your child together, after your divorce. Both will share all the parental duties and privileges and give your child your continued love and support. Regardless the family is now living separately. The plan is to stay involved with the child.

Yes, divorce means the end of your marriage; however, it does not have to mean the end of your parenting obligation. The transition may be difficult, but is always much worse for the child.
